Rebecca Jennings

Veterinarian (BVSc)

Rebecca is a local girl who grew up in Ballarat.  After studying Veterinary Science in Massey University she worked for several years in mixed veterinary practice in NSW and Melbourne and the UK and Africa.  She also worked in Ballarat for several years with Greencross Vets Ballarat.  She is very excited to have opened Buninyong Veterinary Clinic.


Aimee Knowles

Veterinarian (BSc BVMS)

Aimee studied at Murdoch University in W.A. and after graduating in 2006 relocated to regional Victoria. She joined Buninyong Vet Clinic in 2019. Outside of the clinic Aimee is kept busy with her cheeky wire-haired Jack Russell Terrier Trev, gallus Jack Russell Daz, performing in various local orchestras and exploring the big wide world. 


Louisa Johnson

Veterinarian (BVSc(Hons), MANZCVS(Small Animal Medicine))

Louisa graduated from the University of Melbourne and has worked in both Australia and overseas. She lives in Ballarat with her children, husband and two Burmese cats Noah and Balou. Louisa loves looking after client's beloved family members, especially when they are geriatric and need extra support. Louisa is a member (via examination) of the ANZCVS in Small Animal Medicine.

 

 

 


Lauren

Veterinary Nurse (Diploma of Veterinary Nursing)

Lauren has been a Senior veterinary nurse for several years. Lauren has completed her Diploma of Veterinary Nursing, allowing her to offer an even higher standard of care. Lauren grew up in Warrenheip and has several fur babies, she has a special love of brachycephalic breeds which is why she has a rescue aussie bulldog Zoe and persian cat Zeb. In her free time she loves going down to the beach and seeing new places.


Jade Gore

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate 4 Veterinary Nurse)

Jade grew up on a small hobby farm in local Navigators and has cared for many different farm animals over the years. Having worked in an animal shelter for a few years, she has a soft spot for rescue animals that have been given a second chance. She currently lives with her rescue cat Mishka. In her spare time she enjoys being creative, especially photography.


Tori McDonald

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate 4 Veterinary Nursing)

Tori is a Senior veterinary nurse who has an interest in wildlife and exotic species. She has previously studied environmental science and conservation biology. Tori cares for her rescue kelpie bryn a her senior pony Mishka.


Jillian Rickard

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate 4 Veterinary Nurse)

Jillian completed Certificate IV in veterinary nursing in early 2020. She also has a degree in Zoology and Animal Science. Veterinary nursing has allowed Jillian to explore her lifelong love of animals, with a special interest in dogs, pathology and behaviour. She is an auntie to 3 beautiful dogs, Kelpie cross Marco, Lab cross Bella and Labrador Maggie. Outside of work she is a passionate St Kilda supporter, proud watcher of TV and has recently started crocheting.
